The electronic transfer of funds from Westpac to a bank overseas is known as an Overseas Telegraphic Transfer.

You can send money overseas to friends or family, or to an overseas financial institution for business via a Westpac branch or Online Banking, all you need is details of the overseas bank, account number and account name of the beneficiary receiving the funds.

Any handling charges applied by overseas financial institutions will be borne by the beneficiary. Charges could be levied by (but not limited to) paying banks, correspondent banks, intermediary banks or beneficiary financial institution. Westpac does not have control over the fees that these institutions may charge.

Simply print the following form and take it to your local branch or send it to any Westpac branch.
